This humble fingerpicker's dream has some noble credentials! American made using all American, sustainable woods--you just don't see that very often! And that's not all there is to be proud of in this wonderful Orchestra model, either. That wonderfully figured Sitka top and Maple back/sides house a very punchy, fundament-forward, articulate voice. The Earthsong's unique sound is also a result of the somewhat modified Orchestra bodystyle--a touch more akin to a OO than your standard OM. The tonal coloration is dry, to be sure, but with just the right amount of shine...it's like a blend between a vintage, honky blues box and a bright, shimmery modern instrument! The Bedell Earthsong Orchestra isn’t just sustainable, it is also built using only American harvested woods: a salvaged Sitka spruce soundboard, Western bigleaf maple back and sides, an Eastern hard rock maple neck, and a walnut fretboard, bridge and peghead overlay. Bedell craftsmen have achieved unparalleled tone and projection from these plentiful American woods for a truly planet-friendly guitar made from ethically harvested trees. The Bedell Earthsong features a nitrocellulose finish with a root-beer burst and includes a workshop-installed K&K DuoTone pickup.
