Key Features
Advanced Speaker Processing
ORIA’s Advanced Speaker Processing lets you calibrate your room and create custom onboard calibration Profiles (presets) for any monitoring format from stereo to surround to 9.1.6 immersive setups, making reference checking your mix in different formats a breeze.
Trim: adjust the level of every speaker individually to ensure a balanced soundfield
Speaker delay: make sure audio from every speaker arrives at the mix position precisely at the same time
Bass management: accurately hear all of the bass and low-end frequencies in your mix and utilize a per-channel configurable crossover filter
8-band EQ: deal with unwanted acoustic issues and coloration to ensure a flat and consistent translation of your audio
SoundID Reference
Audient has teamed up with room calibration heavyweights Sonarworks to bring you a seamless integration with SoundID Reference, letting you accurately measure and calibrate multichannel setups in less than an hour. With a SoundID Reference Microphone and 60-day free trial of SoundID Reference for Multichannel software included, ORIA lets you create custom SoundID Profiles for different monitoring formats and target modes, load them into ORIA, and take advantage of consistently accurate and low-latency immersive audio.
How It Works
Here's a quick rundown of how calibration with SoundID works:
Measure your speakers: an automated and user friendly guide helps you measure and calibrate your studio speakers using the included microphone
Choose your Target Mode: choose your calibration Profile and correct for the Dolby Atmos Music curve, flat frequency response, or create custom Profiles
Export your profile: export up to 32 unique Profiles directly to ORIA's internal memory, watch as your settings are automatically adjusted
You're now ready to mix: sit back and enjoy a consistent translation of your audio no matter the format in which you are working
Take a Load Off
All of ORIA's Advanced Speaker Processing, whether using manual or SoundID calibrations, runs directly from its lightning fast onboard DSP Dual Processor Architecture. Delivering low-latency audio and freeing up your computer's CPU for bigger and more demanding sessions, the onboard DSP helps you be more productive and experience better performance.
Advanced Immersive Monitor Control
Fast Profile Recall
Use Profiles to quickly switch between speakers, listening levels, and target curves. Imagine instantly switching from your perfectly calibrated stereo nearfield speakers to a 9.1.6 immersive setup with Dolby X-Curve. Now, you can with a touch of a button.
Speaker Control
Fly around your session at high speeds with true immersive monitor control. Featuring color-coded speaker groups, individual and group speaker mute/solo, global volume control, cut and dim, and global delay (lip-sync) for postproduction workflows.
Metering
Keep an eye on your metering from multiple locations including ORIA's front-panel LCD screen, desktop software, or iPad remote. Still need more detail? Expand ORIA's desktop metering via an independent window, unlocking additional visual feedback.
Dolby Atmos Support
ORIA integrates with the Dolby Renderer, letting you take control of the down mix functionality directly from ORIA's user interface. Ideal for quickly checking your mix in different monitoring layouts, such as 7.1, 5.1, stereo, and more.
iPad App Control
Go Remote
Never miss a beat with ORIA's iPad Control app. The power of touch grants you remote access to all of ORIA's control features, from one centralized control hub. Adjust levels, audition speakers, switch profiles, and monitor your metering—all directly from your desktop. Precise control without the complexity.
Connectivity
Make that Connection
With a huge array of connectivity options, ORIA provides more than enough I/O to take on professional multichannel setups.
Two XLR-1/4" combo inputs with balanced mic- and line-level input and unbalanced Hi-Z intstrument input
Both combo inputs sport high-quality Audient preamps with up to 60 dB of clean gain
2 x 16 1/4" line outputs for supporting surround sound speaker setups up to 9.1.6
Eight pairs of AES digital outputs (up to 16 channels) for interfacing with digital speakers
Two ADAT optical inputs for use as an external 9.1.6 monitor controller or traditional multichannel recording, up to 16 channels at 48 kHz, and 8 channels at 96 kHz
Two dedicated 1/4" stereo line outputs (two stereo pairs) for nonimmersive near-field applications
BNC wordclock input and output connectors for integration into larger installations
USB Powered
Connecting via a high-speed USB-C connection, ORIA offers ultralow latency monitoring and rock solid driver performance for both macOS and Windows.
