Sound Pure's Take

Anchor focuses on a modern take on vintage sounds. The foundation of this set is the thin maple shells with roundover bearing edges. Smooth full tones with incredible sustain. Outfitted with Evans G2 coated batter heads, the toms achieve full notes throughout multiple tuning ranges. The bass drum comes with an Emad clear on the batter side and a Remo Fiberskyn on the resonant side with a 4" port. The Emad affords the clip and definition of a modern sound while the thin 8 ply shell smooths out the rest. Complemented with chrome tube lugs and a classic Black Walnut Burst satin finish, this set has warm vintage sounds with modern know how.
