Condition: Used, Very Good. This instrument was manufactured in 1996. There are several dings on the guitar; three on the back of the guitar, one on the horseshoe on the headstock, and one on the heel of the neck. None of these dents affect the instruments function. There are also more minor dings and scratches that are present as a result of everyday use.
SP Luthier Notes: A number of frets had become raised above the fingerboard and partially out of their fret slots which necessitated gluing and reseating said frets into the fingerboard. A majority of frets showed evidence of play wear. As such, the frets were leveled, recrowned, and polished back to a near mint state. The guitar required a full adjustment to the truss rod, nut, and bridge to be brought to a perfect level of playability. Some of the frets as they arrived were deemed to need only a minor cleanup. A polish was performed on these frets, bringing them to pristine condition! Our luthier also filled in and did finish work on an area where a strap button was located prior. The nature of this repair is/was cosmetic only, and does not affect playability in any way. No further work was required.
