Sound Pure's Take

Condition: Used, Very Good. This guitar was manufactured in 1966 by Fender, and has dings, scratches and other wear that should be nothing less than expected of a guitar this age.

SP Luthier Notes: A majority of frets showed evidence of play wear. As such, the frets were leveled, recrowned, and polished back to a near mint state. The guitar required a full adjustment to the truss rod, nut, and bridge to be brought to a perfect level of playability. No further work was required.

This is a real treat of a guitar, especially for those who prefer a shorter scale length! It's vibey, and it has plenty of that classic Fender bark and snap. The pickups, if a little noisy are dynamic, and can go from sweet to snarling with the turn of a knob. The smaller body and neck shape feel great in the hand and thanks to our luthier's work it plays like a dream! And, it really just doesn't get any cooler than a mid-60s Sonic Blue Mustang.
