This guitar makes you feel at ease from the moment you open the case! Taylor's wonderful honeyburst really pops with that rippling Big Leaf Maple on the back and sides and the Hard Rock Maple that constitutes the highly accomodating neck. Tonally, she sounds like church bells on a quiet summer's evening...just the right amount of bright articulation in the mid and treble ranges to compliment the overall warm, sweet tonality shared by the entire dynamic range. The condition is remarkable given the make year--the past 8 years have only served to settle the wood and develop the tonal character, opening up a more tender side of Maple that rarely shows itself on new guitars. Call us up and take this sweetheart home today before she finds someone else to cozy up to!
