What We Think

Up and down the neck we go. No problem! Pre-war tone with modern playability and consistency. It can still crank it out in the first position, though. That's after, where all the money is ;). I love getting in interpretations of those mythic pre-war dreads. Every maker has a different flavor. The Merrill flavor is unique, while still classic, and absolutely ideal for a certain sort of player. Thankfully, I speak to that sort of player on a regular basis, and next time you call me up, I'll be talking up this Merrill. Count on it!

The top is explosive adirondack that only needs a little touch to get it going. The hue and texture on the hog back & side is unlike any I've ever seen. Simply gorgeous.

I'm very happy to add a Merrill to the family here at Sound Pure!
