Sound Pure's Take
I have been keeping an eye out for great guitars with Maple on the back and sides as it is extremely versatile when done right and this Eastman AC622ce has me smiling from the first note! Being in the revamped AC series we have a cutaway and electronics that will help if you need a guitar that is ready to gig today and playability is worth raving about. The sound here is very clear and transparent (thanks to the maple) but also has a nice warmth in the midrange which can sometimes be a problem on similar guitars but not here! If you're a mahogany player who wants something a bit more bright/clear then you should certainly consider a great maple flattop for your arsenal. With all of the modern refinements in a comfortable size, this should be a guitar in everyone's lineup!
From Eastman Guitars
Adopting exciting, forward-thinking design improvements, the new AC Series acoustics stand out like never before. Further refinements to the already future-forward line have taken comfort, functionality, and elegance to the next level.
A sound port is now standard on the AC522CE, AC622CE, and AC722CE models. The carefully contoured opening directs a portion of the acoustic volume upwards towards the player, acting as a stand-in personal monitor. Additionally, ergonomic design is furthered with the inclusion of a chamfered edge that provides maximum comfort and enhances the playing experience.
Newly available finishes add depth to the AC Series, including a lush Goldburst and a brand new Dakota Fade. Inlay upgrades are featured on models throughout, including beautifully ornate maple leaf found on headstocks and fingerboards. Welcome to a beautiful future.
