Ply Shell Snare Drum Shootout: Brady vs. Sonor Prolite vs. Pork Pie Percussion
SoundPure Drum Expert, Barry Knain, compares three different ply shell snare drums in a blind shootout. In this video, we will showcase Brady, Sonor Prolite, and Pork Pie Percussion snare drums in a full kit setup. Each snare was recorded using a Josephson E22s mic on top and a Shure SM57 mic on bottom. All mics used in this shootout were processed through our Phoenix DRS8 Preamp and Apogee Symphony converter.
