One of the most iconic and recorded drum of the 1980s is the Yamaha Recording Custom. The core of this consignment snare dates back to the late 80's. Given its age, this drum is in great condition with the rare Hot Red lacquer finish.
The thin birch shell coupled with the deeper shell is magical. The chrome is clean and shows no sign of pitting and all of the parts appear to be original. The finish has some bumps, but for the most part, it is a clean snare void of any glaring spots of missing paint. Missing snare guides for strainer and butt plate side.
