This is the SONOR DCS-678 MC 600 Series Double Cymbal Stand. It reflects the pinnacle of SONOR’s award-winning hardware design and manufacture. The professional’s preference and the advancing drummer’s dream, this series offers stage stability, ultimate maneuverability, unbeatable roadworthiness and an elegant, refined style. Double-braced legs, rubber feet with a fierce grip on the floor, an articulating third leg to accommodate any stage setup. The knurled boom shafts makes for a sure and steady hold, and the three stages make for infinite adjustability. This model holds two cymbals safely and securely, with broad maneuverability.
SONOR 600 Series is SONOR’s best hardware. It is designed and manufactured for maximum reliability and optimum handling, and is equipped with all of the features that professional s demand from their drum set hardware. All 600 Series stands feature a three-section clamp that diffuses the force around three sides of an extension tube. This results in reliable positioning and repositioning, show after show, session after session, even after being tossed into hardware cases and bags, and jostling around in transit. SONOR’s clamping design ensures that your telescoping hardware can be secured without over-tightening. SONOR’s 600 series stands also feature an independently adjustable leg that simplifies the thorny challenge of fitting multiple stands in a tight stage area.
As one of the oldest drum companies in the world, Sonor brings quality craftsmanship the old fashioned way, by researching their instruments, and constructing them so that they are built to last. It is this pride and dedication that has led Sonor to become one of the premier names in percussion today. Sonor drums and hardware consistently receive top results in tests put on by leading drum and percussion publications. As a first in musical instruments, Sonor received the highest design award of Germany in 1994.
Known for their quality of sound as well as their build quality, Sonor is the choice for top-tier drummers such as Glenn Kotche of Wilco, Danny Carey of TOOL, Steve Smith of Journey, Benny Greb, Jojo Mayer of Nerve, Gavin Harrison of Porcupine Tree, Chris Coleman of Prince, Jack DeJohnette, and many more. Through all the achievements and endorsements, Sonor remains dedicated to consistently offering players with the best sound possible.
