This RBH Prestige Cherry snare has an excellent attack and quick decay. The Cherry shell lends itself to a nice modern crispness with a smooth low end that is accentuated with the 7" shell depth. The finish is simple and elegant, allowing the natural grain of the Cherry and Birdseye Maple inlay to show. RBH produces their own solid brass lugs which tune easily and attach the drum with a single screw. This minimizes the amount of hardware on the shell and really allows it to resonate to its fullest potential. It also is equipped with the Trick throw-off, which has really become the industry standard for custom companies. Add to this a free padded snare drum case, you'll protect this unique hand-crafted instrument for years to come.

RBH Prestige Snare drums use solid, one-piece, steam-bent shells. Each shell starts with a single piece of lumber that is milled to size, steamed and shaped. The sister board is used for the reinforcement rings. RBH Drums are trued, bearing edges and snare beds cut. The shell is then sanded and is ready for finishing, which includes a hand-rubbed semi-gloss finish or high-gloss lacquer. The interiors receive a hand-rubbed oil finish.
RBH Drums is a custom drum builder from Virginia Beach that is operated by Bruce Hagwood. The company focus is primarily on handmade solid shell and ply shell drums that are made in house with their own drum molds. Using quality components and a variety of domestic tone woods, RBH is creating modern and vintage sounds with a modern build quality.
