The Prestige Mahogany snare drum from RBH Drums brings the softest and warmer vintage style sounds with a modern build quality. The mahogany is steam bent, formed into shape, and given maple reinforcement rings to the shell strength and stability. The mahogany's softer density creates a warm and low tone while the modern 45-degree bearing edges add shape and definition. RBH produces their own solid brass lugs which tune easily and attach the drum with a single screw. This minimizes the amount of hardware on the shell and really allows it to resonate to its fullest potential.  It also is equipped with the Trick throw-off, which has really become the industry standard for custom companies. Add to this a free padded snare drum case, you'll protect this unique hand-crafted instrument for years to come. 

RBH Prestige Snare drums use solid, one-piece, steam-bent shells. Each shell starts with a single piece of lumber that is milled to size, steamed and shaped. The sister board is used for the reinforcement rings.  RBH Drums are trued, bearing edges and snare beds cut. The shell is then sanded and is ready for finishing, which includes a hand-rubbed semi-gloss finish or high-gloss lacquer. The interiors receive a hand-rubbed oil finish.
