The Pork Pie Little Squealer line started out as a way to get the Pork Pie quality at an affordable price. After countless prototypes, these Taiwanese drums received the seal of approval from Bill Detamore and have become a thriving entity that now offers snare drums a line of full drum sets.

Pork Pie has long been one of our favorite snare drums in terms of price and sound. The Little Squealer line brings affordability to a new level without sacrificing the Pork Pie sound. The birch/mahogany shell brings this 7x13 snare drum to a new level of crisp articulation. Great as a side snare or primary snare, we found that the 13" diameter definitely speaks well in the higher tuning ranges, but the eight lug configuration will give you a nice even stretch on the drum heads if you prefer lower tunings too.

The Pork Pie Little Squealer Snare Drum is crafted from a hybrid birch/mahogany. This Pork Pie snare boasts a Flat Black finish, all chrome hardware, cast hourglass lugs, and 2.3mm heavy-duty hoops. Bearing edges are hand-sanded and precision cut. Pork Pie builds the Little Squealer snare with painstaking attention to detail.

To take snare drums one step further, he introduced solid (one piece), exotic wood stave and plate brass designs.
