Starting with a 1.6mm riveted straight shell, this beauty is accented with a pair of Jatoba reinforcing rings to enrich the sonic note of this drum. The copper yields a rich fundamental note that is accentuated by the Remo Ambassador X batter head. The Jatoba reinforcing rings are cut with a double 45-degree bearing edge that adds a bit of warmth while giving this shell a bit of focus too. Depending on your tuning preference, this drum can sound as big as a 14" diameter drum without sacrificing the space and playability of the 13" diameter.
