The guitar is beautifully played by flat-picking legend, John Garris in the Sound Pure Recording Studios, and recorded using a simple minimalist microphone setup including the Earthworks SR40 Cardioid Microphones, and the Earthworks 1024 4-channel microphone preamp, feeding a Lynx Aurora 16 A/D converter.
