This LP Aspire Accents cajon has a front ply hardwood playing surface with a solid hardwood body. Its large rubber feet keep it in place while you're pounding out those tasty beats.
The LP Aspire cajon gains its emphatic bottom-end from a solid hardwood body, constructed from woods chosen for their resonant properties. The interior houses a set of wire snares for those authentic flamenco trills and the durable hardwood front panel is adjustable with varying screw tension. The internal snare wires are easily accessed and adjusted, as is the front panel.
The height is a convenient 17-1/4", comfortable for all players, while the width is 12" for ample resonance. To ensure that bass tones are not grounded into hardwood or otherwise non-carpeted floors, the LP Aspire cajon drum is fitted with large rubber feet.
Latin Percussion was founded in 1964 as the passion project of Martin Cohen, a young engineer living in New York City. Captivated by the Latin music he heard at New York’s jazz clubs, Martin set out to hand-craft his own percussive instruments like bongos and cowbells, delivering them to musicians all around the city. Since then, LP has been dedicated to producing only the highest quality percussion instruments by putting the needs of the performing musician above all others. From congas to cajons, timbales to tambourines, LP continues to meet the demands of modern percussionists across all styles of music.
