The Kauer Buckers (Wolftone KB) are so clear and articulate they make playing any style of music an absolute joy. The rounded low end and sweet mid-range compliment the smooth treble frequencies and the inherent sound is a clean tone so rich and full you'd swear you could eat it. The goldtop finish is out-of-this-world, the slightest hints of olive green blend in with the gold for an immediate eye-catcher.

The Starliner Semi Hollow, Doug Kauer's personal favorite. We call it a Semi Hollow but that's not truly what it is. Somewhere between "chambered" and "semi hollow" we voice our Semi Hollows to be a bigger, more open version of the full solid Standard, but not into the laminated semi's (or like an Argonaut / Daylighter Supreme). The best way to describe it, imagine playing your favorite solid body guitar through a 1x12 amp, then plugging in another 1x12. Our Semi Hollow's are like that. Just bigger and more open but with all the thump and girth of the solid models.

This one is no exception. Featuring an ABM compensated wraparound, full vintage 50's D neck, gorgeous Goldtop over eastern maple trimmedup in classic vintage bone colored binding, this Starliner is a throw back to our favorite mid 50's classics.
