What We Think

Brad Jetter's fateful recreation of the Bedrock 1200 Model is absolutely spot on - but what else could you expect from the man who designed both himself? The drive boasts a fat and vintage tone reminiscent of the music we all grew up loving. This drive pedal is pretty indicative of their entire line of products - versatile, extremely high-quality and absolutely inspiring.

Manufacturer's Description from Jetter

The BR 1200 is an exciting new pedal that captures the essence of a somewhat obscure but much loved amp, the Bedrock Model 1200.

A straight forward amp in design, it offered some innovations that set it apart from at the time. Articulate and smooth at lower gain settings and somewhat of a beast at higher gain setting with the Pull Shift engaged, the Model 1200 received critical acclaim and was seen on stage with many noteworthy players.

The BR 1200 pedal shares those same qualities and more. At lower gain settings, it can function as a very colorful boost. Increase the gain a little, and you easily dial in beautiful edge-of-breakup tones. With these settings, those elusive, Texas inspired single-coil neck pickup tones burst forth.
Flip the Shift toggle-switch and the pedal takes on a girth through the midrange that is just right for bigger lead tones that will fatten up a single-coil or unleash a humbucker.

Why do I feel so confident that I nailed the Bedrock Model 1200 with the Jetter Gear BR 1200 pedal? Easy....I designed both.

About Manufacturer

Jetter Gear made the decision several years ago to keep as much of the build process in-house or closely under our direct control. Our enclosures are designed by us and manufactured locally. We feel that these enclosures are the toughest in the industry, all while maintaining elegance of design and functionality. We then use the highest quality powder coating available to give our enclosures a beautiful and durable finish.

Our silk screening is all done in-house, from graphic design to actually applying the ink. We use an extremely durable catalyzed ink for precision and long life. Our circuit boards are designed in-house and are manufactured here in the USA using military grade materials. Every circuit board is loaded by hand here at Jetter Gear.

All of these steps contribute to our dedication to designing and building the most reliable and aesthetically pleasing pedals possible.
