What We Think

This little guitar is a really charming piece of Fender's history. Aside from the normal graceful aging you would expect on a well cared for guitar from 1959, it is in really great shape and has a warm golden tone that reverberates from its singular neck pickup. Its playability is very interesting as it sports such a short scale length and smaller neck, but its lovely tone and wonderful vintage pedigree really set it apart as a guitar to be cherished. For the player with much smaller than average hands, it may even strike a sweet spot for ease of playability. It's undeniable that this piece is a very unique guitar from a treasured and bygone era. I feel it could easily be the delight of a serious collector, or a great little axe to keep around the house and enjoy for all its special tone and charm.
