What We Think

This is a really amazing 12-fret slotted headstock parlor-style guitar. The design certainly has some Classical guitar leanings. It is a serious acoustic machine, very loud and resonant. Andrew Manson is one of the most famous builders in the UK. His instrument are played by Ron Wood, Ian Anderson, and Jimmy Page. This is the perfect fingerstyle guitar. There is some lacquer checking in the top and a missing headstock logo but otherwise Very Good + condition. More pictures available by request.

Andrew Manson Kingfisher Custom Acoustic Guitar Demo

The Andrew Manson Kingfisher Custom Acoustic Guitar is demo'd in the Sound Pure Acoustic Guitar showroom. The instrument is recorded utilizing a pair of Neumann U87Ai Microphones into a Vintech X73i preamp. The recording was made completely dry (no EQ, no effects), and was made in a non-treated acoustic room in the Sound Pure facility, proving that this great guitar and great recording gear can produce gorgeous sounding results even in spaces that weren't designed to make recordings. This gently used instrument is available from the Sound Pure Guitar collection, as is all of the recording gear used.
