From AEA

The N28 is an active Blumlein ribbon microphone equipped with two matched bidirectional (or figure-of-8) ribbon
transducers, and designed with a compact, easy-to-position body that is slightly longer—by just under two inches—
than other Nuvo microphones. The N28 uses Lehle 1:89 transformers and a newly developed impedance buffer amp
topology.
