What We Think

This ax really nails the classic Fender Strat tone down! Playing through a clean amp I was able to easily get some silky smooth cleans on the neck and middle pickup combined. Think early Knopfler or Hank Marvin and you will have a pretty good idea what kind of tones this baby is pushing out. Running a little gain makes this one growl with the kind of smokey authority we all expect of the Fender archetype. It plays smooth and sweet with light strings and a wide neck. True to 50's form it has small frets and it really responds to a light touch. A little goes a long way on this one. This piece isn't just a recreation of a beloved model from a bygone era, it is a sweet playing tone machine all in its own right. An ax like this will always leave you smiling!
