My musical instruments are premium quality and handmade in Chapel Hill, NC. USA. Rooted in traditional building techniques, I incorporate modern materials and innovations that accommodate better playability, more reliable performance, and improved intonation. Every instrument is built with a clear vision of a beautiful, musical, and extraordinary end result, with a consistency of the techniques and skills required.
I specialize in building fanned-fret ®* and custom extended range instruments (Mono and stereo 7 string guitar, mono and stereo 8 string guitar, as well as many custom instruments that "don't exist yet" ), but my roots are in building all types of 'traditional" fretted instruments (Electric six string guitars, "bluegrass" dreadnaught acoustic guitars, bluegrass mandolins, mandocello, archtop acoustic "jazz" guitars, etc.).
