The HS80LOW snare stand features a new snare basket which allows the snare drum to be positioned nearly 4" lower than it's sibling the HS80W stand. TAMA's Quick-Set Tilter uses six smooth metal disc plates instead of traditional toothed gears, so you can adjust it to any desired angle. TAMA has also introduced the Escape Claw which are rubber cushions that allow the snare drum to "float" on the basket arms for improved resonance.

The Tama HS80LOW Roadpro Snare Stand's special snare basket enables snare positioning 100mm (3.9") lower than the HS80W. It has the same Quick-Set Tilter found on other Roadpro snare stands for quick, virtually unlimited snare drum angle adjustment and heavy duty double braced legs.
