Primacoustic's London room acoustics bundles are an incredible value and an excellent choice for treating the acoustics of your studio. Their Rockwool-based absorption panels are far more effective at absorbing a broad range of frequencies than foam-based acoustics products, yet these London kits are priced very competitively compared to foam.

You may find yourself wanting more of one thing or another with these kits depending on your specific room, but these kits are an excellent place to start if you're looking to improve the sound of your room, and even the small London 8 kit will give you a dramatic improvement - eliminating flutter echoes, tightening up the mids and low end and giving you more definition in what you're recording and hearing.

London room kits include a remarkable combination of acoustic panels and hardware that together solve many of the usual problems associated with studio acoustics. To dissipate high frequency flutter echo and reduce standing waves, Scatter Blocks are positioned at the ‘receive’ end of the room. To control powerful reflections in the critical mid range, Control Columns are positioned on side walls and on the ‘source’ wall. To help manage low frequencies and reduce the effect of room modes, two large broadband absorbers (London Bass Traps) are positioned in the corners (London 12 and 16 only). For the London 8 and 10 you can add the London Bass Trap™ kit if desired.
All panels are made from high density 6lb glass wool and fully encapsulated with micromesh. Edges are resin treated to produce sharp-looking architecturally attractive lines. Panels are then covered with acoustic fabric in a choice of three neutral colors to match most room decors. London kits come complete with Surface Impalers to mount panels flush to walls, Corner Impalers to create the bass traps in room corners and all of the screws and wall anchors you need to do the installation. We even include the drill bit!

The London 8 contains select Broadway panels that tackle problems affecting any room, such as primary reflections, flutter echo, and standing waves. In addition to acoustic panels, each London 8 room kit includes the corresponding mounting hardware and instructions for easy installation.

Broadway panels are made from high-density 6lb per cubic foot fiberglass, offering nearly five times greater absorption than typical low cost foam alternatives. This means that you get more absorption with less panels, while assuring an even absorption curve throughout the frequency range. The London 8 room kit is available in three fabric colors. 12 panels included.
