This visually stunning drum features a thin walnut ply shell and a gorgeous curly maple outer veneer. The shell is a relatively new offering from Pork Pie and gives players a new tonal option. The Walnut shell provides a full body note with a little more low end than maple. The medium and lower tuning really showcase and maximize the full body tone while the higher tunings are rich and bright. As with all Pork Pie snare drums, clarity and sensitivity are never an issue and the ten lug configuration will help you find your tuning sweet spot with ease.
