The tone of the jarrah shell is very balanced, and simply wonderful. It’s a little lower in pitch than a similarly sized maple, but just so smooth, organic and rich. The finish is a beautiful natural gloss. The hardware is all chrome, very solid, and smooth. Rim shots are wonderfully tight and cutting. With a unique diamond inlay and jarrah shell, the snare is complemented with an exquisite Queensland Walnut outer veneer. This is a very rare one of a kind piece.
