The Road Hogg Lite is product of the work done in development of it's big brother, the Road Hogg. The Road Hogg Lite shares the same preamp and control features of its bigger brother, but in a more compact, light weight, and less expensive package.

We accomplish this by using a lighter weight transformer set, and smaller solid pine cabinet. The weight savings bring the Road Hogg Lite in at around  35lb, but still with enough volume to hang with the band at most small to medium sized gigs. 

The differences between the Road Hogg and Road Hogg Lite include:

• Cathode biased output section vs fixed bias on Road Hogg
• Smaller weight saving transformer set. A bit less output volume and headroom than the big brother, but still very potent with excellent headroom still available
• Smaller solid pine cabinet

The 6V6/20 watt version can be loaded with a Warehouse Guitar Speakers Green Beret for a sweet but potent package, or for more volume use the louder Reaper 30.

If you need to kick it up a notch volume-wise, you can choose the EL34 version for roughly 30 watts.
