Jarrah has long been one of our favorite timbers from Australia, but when it is combined with Spotted Gum you have the makings of something special. We were knocked out by this drum for its gorgeous Rosewood outer veneer but fell in love with its sound. 

At the heart of this drum is a Jarrah/Spotted Gum/Jarrah ply shell with Jarrah reinforcing rings. This 8 ply shell with 4 ply reinforcing rings combined with the 30-degree bearing edges synergizes a woody tone with incredible articulation and focus that is reminiscent of vintage builds. The ten Beavertail lugs and stick saver hoops have a wonderful aesthetic appeal but really afford this drum a wide tuning range that is comfortable in tabletop tight to super spongy tunings and everything in between.
