The Meinl Mahogany Headliner Cajon is now available in a Big Box size to increase tonal range and volume!
$119.99
Retail: $228.00
The Meinl Headliner Series Cajons deliver the classic cajon sound at an affordable price and can be used in Flamenco or World Music. They are also very useful during unplugged gigs for delivering the rhythmic foundation for a whole band when a full drum set can’t be used.
A musician can use this singular lightweight box drum to create as many sounds as a full drum set, and by adjusting the top corners you can further expand sound options.
The full range of sounds that the Cajon can create are produced by adjusting not only the top corners that affect the timbre and crash, but by changing tension put onto wires inside the box drum. The nylon guitar strings located against the frontplate control the amount of sizzle heard during a performance. The cajon player can even disable the sizzle completely.
Complete with anti-slipping seating surface, Allen wrench for adjustments, and matte finish, the Meinl Headliner Series Cajon is an easily transported distinctive instrument for all percussionists.
