$269.99

Meinl Cajons are quickly becoming the go-to instrument for acoustic and low-volume gigs. Their small and portable bodies easily fit in almost any playing situation without hassle. Like many of Meinl's cajons, the CAJ5EB-M has a resonating wood body with a soundhole positioned at the back of the instrument. Unlike traditional cajons, bass pedal cajons have a set of snares that touch the front plate from the inside and deliver the classic Cajon sound. The bass pedal can adjust the amount of pressure used to press the snare wires against the front plate and can even be turned off. Having this flexibility will give more options to express yourself with ease. The Meinl Bass Pedal Cajon comes in a matte-finished ebony front plate with adjustable top corners allowing you to control the sound of the Cajon. It also features a padded sitting surface for performance comfort. Discover the sound that continues to make its mark worldwide.
The MEINL Bass Pedal Cajon features another unique innovation, which proves once again MEINL's leading R/D status in the worldwide percussion scene. A pedal attached to the cajon adjusts the amount of pressure used to press the snare wires against the front plate, and can even be turned off completely This system allows the player to change the settings of the snare wires while playing a rhythm with both hands without an interruption. Due to its size being bigger than the standard MEINL Cajons, the instrument has more projection and bass frequencies.
