The modern snare Cajons have a set of snares that touch the frontplate from the inside and deliver the classic Cajon sound. A knurled knob adjusts the amount of pressure used to press the snare wires against the frontplate and can even be turn them off completely. Cajons are ideal for softer acoustic gigs when a full drum kit cannot be used. Its portability, as well as its musicality, make it easy for musicians to pick up and play without hassle.
