What We Think

Meinl Cajons are quickly becoming the go-to instrument for low-volume gigs. Like many of Meinl's cajons, it has a resonating rubberwood body and a soundhole positioned at the rear of the instrument. The body features an ergonomic curve along the corners and is accented with a Bubinga front plate. This Cajon also comes with a padded seat that keeps you comfortable and four rubber feet that keep the base of your Cajon safe from scratches and slipping and sliding. You'll produce lovely full tones on the sides of the Cajon as well as on the front, and with the bass pedal disengaged, you will have the option to play without snare wires for added flexibility.

Manufacturer's Description from Meinl Percussion

The MEINL 30TH Anniversary Pedal Cajon features our new patent pending ergonomic curved frontplate, made from exotic African Bubinga Wood. The new ergonomically shaped frontplate has a slight curve (Ergo-Shape) that follows the natural contour of your hands for extreme comfort when playing – you will feel the difference! This cajon also features our patent pending foot pedal.
