This pre-owned Empress from McInturff is a serious player! Terry is one of the worlds best electric guitars builders and this guitar is a beautiful example.

The humbucker provides thick, hot tone while the single coils on this bad boy provide classic bell-like tone. A great hybrid setup! It sounds especially good due to the carefully selected woods.

You won't find many other boutique guitars that have as much attention to tonal detail and impeccable fit and finish as McInturff Guitars!

The Empress is essentially a hybrid of the two most popular electric guitars in the world…with a host of unique features. While it’s true that this guitar can produce many of our favorite vintage tones of the past, what is really interesting are the new sounds you’ll be inventing on your Empress. This is a very snappy, articulate instrument that responds quickly to picking and fretting nuances at all volume levels.

The Empress features a AAAA figured maple carved top and chambered mahogany back with our reinforced mahogany neck, TonePros ™ locking fixed bridge and tailpiece with non-locking tuners or TCM Vibe and Sperzel keys. Beautiful paua shell “rope” inlays on a select Indian rosewood fretboard are standard. Features our new noiseless “single coils”and our TCM Zodiac humbucker in the bridge.
