A softer, darker alloy generally used for cymbal making, Bronze presents a unique blend of metal snare projection and the warmer tones of a wood drum. When compared to some of the other metal shell drums in the Phonic series, the bronze shell delivers a lower fundamental note and body that the others cannot naturally reach. This Ludwig Hammered Bronze Snare features a stylish hand-hammered shell and polished exterior with their Imperial lugs. The hammering process shortens the sustain while adding a beautiful aesthetic that is sure to please.

Offered with smooth or precision hammered shells, Imperial or Tube Lugs, and 5", 6.5" and Now 8" shell depths the Bronze Phonic series is must add to any drummer, snare drum collection.
