A true Hoss of a guitar right here, folks. Kevin Kopp cut his teeth working in the Gibson shop and it shows--the warm, dry, fundamental punch of this instrument sound eerily like something that came out of Michigan in the 30s. And indeed, this model draws its roots from the extra-rare 12 fret J-200s that were made in the early 20th century. Makes you wonder where they went! We can see singer/songwriters, fingerstyle wizards, and flatpicking soloists alike all falling head over heels for this powerful bear hug of a guitar. Rarely do you get the versatile balance and transparency of something like an OM with the volume and presence of a Jumbo--don't miss out on this magical beast while it's here!
