This VERY clean Radar V has been living in a road case untouched for the last 3 years. It has the standard Classic Converters (Nyquist at the time), standard 24 channels at 48. It includes the remote as well as many of the speciality cables needed to get the system up and running. It also has several DB25 to TRS cables (all included)
Designed for live performance recording trucks and boutique broadcast and post-production applications, the RADAR 24 system excelled in situations where fast lock times, low-jitter clocking, and system stability are key. RADAR 24's reliability, simple use interface, and easy workflow integration reduced downtime and training time, letting engineers focus on getting the job done.
The RADAR 24 is a 24 channel recording and playback system powered by the Adrenaline recording engine.
RADAR 24 systems represent an important milestone in the development of professional digital multi-track recorders. They enjoyed a well-earned reputation as the most affordable, professional multi-track recording format on the market.
The now famous Radar stand-alone recording systems formerly distributed by Otari have always been manufactured by the Candian-based IZ technology group. The Radar systems that they build represent one of the most stable and reliable hard-drive based digital recording systems ever built. But, not only is their stability what makes them famous, the sound quality of their converters are absolutely amazing. Whether you are a studio looking to replace your 24 track analog tape machine with the best digital recorder (And easiest to integrate), or you are looking to build a rock-solid and sonically spectacular studio based around one of these, the Radar's will simply not let you down. These machines are designed and built to give you the same incredible sound quality and bullet-proof reliability day-in and day-out for many, many years. Many of the original IZ-built Radars which were distributed by Otari are still in action today. And, perhaps even more substantive, for those of you who are skeptical about purchasing a digital recorder which may be outdated, IZ has continued to ofer upgrade paths to their latest and greatest systems, even to their oldest of customers!
