Sound Pure's Take

A titanic testament to the magic that happens in the Goodall workshop!  It almost feels criminal to try and describe in words the complexity, precision, and near supernatural presence this one of a kind instrument offers the player.  Just to name a few aspects, the natural bloom, reverb, and ever-expanding overtone content are quite simply not found at this level on anything else out there.  Give yourself a mere minute of playing and you'll find yourself lost in a tonal world of your own creation.  Fingers, picks--whatever you bring to the table, this guitar will take whatever you're doing to the next level.  "Inspiring" doesn't begin to cover it, folks!

From Goodall Guitars

Concert Jumbo

In November 1998 after 26 years of building some of the finest steel string guitars ever constructed, James Goodall announced the addition of an exciting new box size. This is in response to increasing requests for a more comfortable, smaller body dimension than the Goodall Standard (near in size to the Dreadnought). The Concert Jumbo model is slightly smaller than the Standard series and larger than the Grand Concert series guitar.

The end result is a beautiful new shape called the Concert Jumbo. "The powerful, rich, and clear tone has exceeded my expectations," James Goodall said of his new Concert Jumbo. Since it retains the large acoustic soundboard area of the Standard or Dreadnought, while increasing comfortability and curvy visual appeal, this model has become a favored size for many Goodall Guitar owners.

About Goodall

Goodall Guitars was formed in 1972 with a simple premise which became our mission statement, Acoustic Excellence. This means that our purpose is to build instruments with superbly rich tone, refined designs and appointments, and the greatest playability available in an acoustic guitar. We think of our guitars as a musical tool and strive for elegant design executed with precision, comparable to that of a master built violin. Our philosophy is to create the finest instruments available at any cost. Offering tasteful appointments, we avoid overly extravagant cosmetic options and allow the natural beauty of the woods to tell their own story. We are confident that the unsurpassed lyrical voice of our instruments will speak for themselves, and greatly inspire players toward their own acoustic excellence.
