It also sports the original George Way  “beer tap” style snare throw-off with some modern improvements. The George Way 6.5x14 Tradition Snare Drum with Cherry Shell features the same shell architecture as the Studio model with one exception - the shells are entirely made from Cherry. This snare drum comes with streamline casings and a 845 snare throw off requires no snare wire tension, you actually use the butt end as a tension adjustment for the snares. The Tradition snare drum has triple flange hoops that fold down over the tension rods completing its simple but elegant look.
