This pedal is an absolutely fantastic drive, perfect for everything from boosting your signal to giving yourself all the saturation you need without sacrificing the integrity of your tone. The Mosfet boost is an absolutely delightful feature that rings true to the amps of years past and it can help you nail that perfect tone given any situation.

Full Drive 2 Mosfet
Housed in a beautiful powder coated Blue 16ga. steel enclosure, the dual-channel Full-Drive 2 Mosfet gives you the best of both worlds. The first channel is the Overdrive Mode, capable of clean boost or non-compressed overdrive or choose light to medium softer overdrives all while retaining your guitar's original tone. The Tone knob is a very effective presence control that can smooth out or add upper harmonics. The second channel is the "Boost Mode" with its own separate distortion control for medium to higher gains with a more singing violin-like sustain!
One mini-toggle lets you choose between a "Vintage" FD2 sound with mid-heavy tones that cut through the mix and "FM (flat-mids)" for a more natural, transparent sound that works awesome with a Strat's neck pickup.
The other mini-toggle lets you choose between Mosfet and Normal clipping modes. Normal mode is even more asymmetrical, sweeter and more open, with no "blanket" over the sound.
And, of course, the FD2-Mosfet features super-bright LEDs and Fulltone's exclusive "no-thump/no-pop" True Bypass switches. We are the first to offer a switchable "Boost" Channel in an overdrive and the first only to manufacture our own Super-Duty 3PDT footswitch allowing True-Bypass plus LED.

My name is Michael Fuller, I'm the founder, designer, and President of Fulltone Musical Products Inc.
2018 marks our 25th Anniversary, but I really started Fulltone around 1991 while working as a Session Guitarist, a Composer, Performer, and Electronic Tinkerer. People started calling me asking for my pedals after I was featured in Guitar Player Magazine for winning first place in their "Ultimate Guitarist Competition" competition.
Fulltone pedals were born out of a love for music, great gear, great tone, and a desire to make bullet-proof products. Early on I developed a love for fine vintage pedals and my frustration at the inconsistencies and the fragile nature of this old gear drove me to start Fulltone. Rich, Fat-sounding TONE TOOLS with a reliable build quality is the goal. All Fulltone effects carry a 5 year warranty and are built for (and by) musicians.
We use True Bypass switching or our exclusive "Enhanced Bypass TM" (OCD V2, WahFull) with L.E.D. status indicator in all our pedals. I designed and manufacture the Fulltone 3PDT , the world's only Super-Duty Triple Pole Double Throw footswitch. All of Fulltone's Pots and switches are designed by me and custom made for me because what everyone else uses is not good enough, in my opinion.
All Fulltone pedals are designed, hand-built & tested by us at our shop in Southern California using top-notch components.
