The DW Collector's Series Solid Steel 5.5x14 snare drum has a 3mm rolled shell that is a monster of a steel snare drum offered in the Collectors series.
This drum is rolled from pure steel and has an integrated reinforcing to add a touch of focus. This drum is not for the faint of heart. It has a piercing crack with a solid shell note that will have your band members squinting and weighs in at a little over 16lbs. This shell is complemented with a vintage inspired "pre-aged" copper-ribbed finish giving it a striking appearance next to the chrome-plated hardware.
