This is a drum that doesn't sound like anything else I've ever heard in my life. Like a good spice blend, this drum brings with it a really unique pallet of sound - the Spalted Tamarind and Shedua both bring this drum a really interesting, all-encompassing sound. It's super bassy but also not lacking at all in the snap and crack of a good high end - accented by the construction that also includes Ebony.
