A Quick Q&A with Tyler

When did you first start playing music?

I’ve been singing in choirs/groups for as long as I can remember. I picked up the guitar in high school and began writing my own music during the 2020 lockdown.

What brought you to Sound Pure?

In college, I studied both marketing and music, and Sound Pure offers roles that bring those two worlds together. It felt like the perfect opportunity to combine my passions in a fun and exciting way.

Where are you from originally?

I grew up in Wilton, Connecticut. After graduating from college, I decided it was time for a change and moved down to North Carolina last summer.

What’s your favorite musical genre?

2000-2010s pop punk

What’s a quirky or fun fact about you?

I was a child actor!

What are your passions and hobbies outside of music?  

I love snowboarding. It’s been a passion of mine almost as long as music has. Vermont and New Hampshire rock!

What record(s) have changed your life?

What Sports Teams are you into, and why?

I like the Tennessee Titans and the New York Jets (Family team). I don’t know why I put myself through watching either of them every Sunday.

I have a Siberian husky named Winnie. She’s the best!
