A Quick Q&A with Jackson

Where are you from originally?

I am from the Durham, North Carolina area.

When did you first start playing music?

I’ve been playing music since I was very little, starting with piano and singing. I’m familiar with low brass wind instruments, guitar and bass.

What gear is in your current rig?

I have two Gretsches, a Thinline Telecaster, and a Hamer Sunburst. Pedal & amp wise, I run through a fender full moon distortion, a crybaby wah, and into a Tophat Club 30. Mostly.

What’s on your wish list?

Probably a Gibson SG, in black.

Which records have changed your life?

Foo Fighters; “Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace”

What’s your least favorite thing to practice?

Slide guitar; it’s also my favorite thing to practice. It’s really difficult but fun to learn.
