What we think:
A stunning combination of woods for eyes and ears! The colorful figure on the smoky walnut body is framed beautifully by the golden cedar top and figured Sycamore binding. Every feature on this guitar fits the design perfectly, from the elegant rosette to the 5-piece mahogany and rosewood neck. Like most Lowden guitars, this is an amazing fingerstyle instrument--but this one also takes very well to flatpicking and strumming. The tone is very focused and clear and single note lines fly out powerfully with plenty of punch and projection.
