We think that building microphones and using them is an art rather than a science. What is at the heart of making music? It is mainly dealing with expressing the emotional content of an artist’s performance and the impression this performance is leaving in the listener. What is at the heart of recording music? Isn't it dealing with creating an image that will contain as much of this impression as possible? We think that only artists can create such a picture and these are the people we build our microphones for.
