Condition: Used, Excellent
SP Luthier Notes: A portion of the frets were not level with each other requiring them to be leveled, recrowned, and polished into near mint condition. The guitar required a full adjustment to the truss rod, nut, and bridge to be brought to a perfect level of playability. No further work was required.
What an elegant instrument. Open the case and witness that gorgeous three-tone "chocolate" sunburst and those tasteful abalone snowflakes inlaid in the ebony fretboard. Then you play the thing, and the breadth of the frequency response astonishes you. That old-growth Adirondack spruce in concert with the Indian rosewood back and sides imparts something special in the upper-mids that gives open chords clarion presence and single-note runs a swelling attack, but the guitar also has room-filling low end. And the soft-V neck makes it endlessly playable. Good thing, too: You'll never, ever want to put this guitar down.
