The dBooster is the industry’s cleanest in-line phantom powered signal booster for non-powered ribbon and dynamic microphones. It provides two steps of gain; 12 dB or 20 dB switchable, bringing new life to low output mics for use on vocals, acoustic guitar, ukulele, etc.

The dBooster generates virtually zero distortion and self-noise even in the highest gain setting. Its gain levels remain consistent, regardless of the preamps used or the electrical load.

*We’ve measured all of the in-line- preamplifier products made today and found high levels of distortion in all of them, and they often lose output level when loaded. No such issues with the Royer dBooster! The dBooster gives amazing results with SM-7s on vocals. Set for 20 dB of gain for softer singers or dial back to 12 dB to keep your preamp or DAW from breaking up when a louder singer wants to eat the mic.

*The R-10 has 5 dB less output than an R-121, so the dBooster’s extra level is very helpful on softer recordings.
