SP Luthier Notes: Some of the frets were coming out of the fretboard, and our luthier reseated them and glued them into place. The truss rod and bridge were fully adjusted. No further work was needed.
The Knaggs Severn X/B in Charcoal Tiger is a stunning mix of beauty and bite, built to be as reliable as it is inspiring. Its gloss nitro finish highlights the striking T2 maple over mahogany body, giving it both resonance and character, while the ebony fingerboard and T2 maple neck make every note feel effortless. At 8.4 lbs, it’s solid without being heavy, with a Chesapeake hardtail bridge and Gotoh tuners keeping everything locked in place. The B.K. Aftermath pickups paired with a 3-way blade switch offer tones that range from glassy clean to ferocious and full, making it a true workhorse for the stage or studio.
